B.  Words that give purposeful instruction
C.  Words that build lives
D.  Words that are like concrete to secure a foundation to            build on

II.  Practical uses of edification:
A.  Seek to do good in your spheres of influence which will         cause others to be built up in Christ.                                            1.
Your life carries the influence of Christ which                         always seeks to build and not tear down.
B.  Be conscience of the words you allow to proceed from           your mouth.
         1.    Ask yourself; is this edifying my neighbor? If you                   must speak hard truth or constructive criticism,                       seek to edify.
C. The words that proceed from your mouth should always
minister God’s grace.
     1.    The favor and supernatural ability of God should be              in your words which reflect His love, grace and                        mercy for our lives.
